We Built Something for the Keto Questions
If you’ve been reading Carnivore Weekly for any amount of time, you know what we’re about. Meat. Animal foods. The carnivore way of eating. That hasn’t changed, and it won’t.
But here’s something that’s been true for a while now. We get hundreds of keto questions every week. In our comments, in our inbox, in DMs. "Can I add avocado?" "What about keto with some vegetables?" "My partner won’t go full carnivore but wants to cut carbs."
For a long time, my answer was some version of "that’s outside our lane." Which felt honest but also felt like leaving people hanging. Especially when the person asking was clearly trying to get healthier and just needed a different starting point than strict carnivore.
So We Made KetoDial
KetoDial is our new sister site built specifically for the keto community. It’s a separate site, separate content, separate focus. Carnivore Weekly stays carnivore. KetoDial handles keto.
Think of it as audience routing. If you’re here for ribeyes and liver, you’re in the right place. If someone you know is keto-curious, or you’re feeding a household where not everyone eats like you do, now there’s somewhere to send them that we actually trust.
Because let’s be real. Most keto content online is almond flour pizza crust and "keto brownies" made with seventeen ingredients you can’t pronounce. That’s not what we built. KetoDial is meat-forward keto. It takes metabolic health seriously. It’s for people who want to understand the science, not just count macros and call it a day.
What You’ll Find There
Right now, KetoDial offers a few things we’re really proud of.
- A free keto macro calculator. Plug in your stats and goals, get personalized macro targets. No email gate, no paywall. Just useful.
- Personalized paid reports. A Doctor’s Report you can actually bring to your physician. A 7-Day Meal Plan built around real food. A Starter Kit for people who don’t know where to begin.
- Blog content focused on meat-forward keto. Recipes that start with protein, not substitute flours. Articles that explain the metabolic reasoning behind the food choices.
The recipes alone are worth a look. These aren’t the "keto pancakes that taste just like the real thing" posts. They’re meals built around quality animal protein with strategic plant additions. The kind of food that actually supports your metabolism.
Why This Makes Sense for CW
I know some of you are thinking it. "Sarah, is CW going keto now?" No. Full stop. Carnivore Weekly is carnivore first, always.
But I’ve been in this space long enough to know that real life is messy. Many of you started with keto before going carnivore. Some of you move between the two depending on the season, your training, or what’s going on with your family. That’s not weakness. That’s being a human with a life.
The research supports flexibility too. Metabolic health exists on a spectrum. Someone eating meat-forward keto is in a fundamentally different place than someone eating the standard American diet. Progress matters more than purity.
What I didn’t want was to water down CW trying to serve both audiences at once. That’s how you end up being mediocre at two things instead of great at one. KetoDial lets us stay focused here while still helping the keto-adjacent crowd with content that meets our standards.
Who KetoDial Is For
If you’re strict carnivore and happy, you don’t need KetoDial. Keep doing what you’re doing.
But if any of these sound familiar, it might be worth a look.
- Your partner or family member wants to cut carbs but won’t go full carnivore
- You’re transitioning from keto to carnivore and want a bridge
- You cycle between carnivore and keto depending on your goals
- You coach or advise people who aren’t ready for carnivore yet
- You just want a solid keto macro calculator that doesn’t try to sell you a subscription
If that’s you, or someone you know, we made this for them.
Check It Out
You can explore everything at ketodial.com. The macro calculator is free, the blog is growing, and the paid reports are there if you want something more personalized.
I’m genuinely excited about this one. Not because it changes what we do here at CW. But because it means we can finally help the people who’ve been asking us keto questions for years without having to say "sorry, that’s not our thing."
Now it is our thing. Just on a different site.
If you check it out, I’d love to hear what you think. Drop a comment below or send us a note. And if you know someone who’s been keto-curious, maybe send them the link.
I’m not a doctor. I’ve researched this deeply and worked with many people, but I’m not your doctor. If you have health conditions, take medications, or need specific guidance, talk to someone who knows your full medical picture. Everything I write is educational based on research and what I’ve seen work. Your situation might be different.
